Welcome to Folk Dancing in Fayetteville

Folk dancing in Fayetteville is broadly divided between the international crowd and the contradance crowd, though there is lots of overlap. Here are the main groups:

• Fayetteville International Folk Dancers (FIFD).
• Anoush, a performing group made up of members of FIFD (mostly).
• Fayetteville Traditional Dance Society (FTDS). This link includes a schedule of regular dances.
• Fayetteville Square Dance: supposedly last Friday of each month at Back Space, 541 West Meadow Street, Fayetteville, Arkansas 72701. There are facebook pages for FSD and the Back Space venue.
